first of all i would like to give a shout out to my girl elle... what up ELLE?? today is her fabulous twenty-second birthday!! only 2 more weeks for me... i wonder what 22 will be like?
big news everyone, yesterday i got a calling... i'm in the compassionate service committee, and i’m in charge of doing a spotlight for the relief society sisters. pretty exciting, huh? i also found out that my visiting teaching companion is one of the only girls i know in our ward & she is married to a Fijian friend of ours we knew in Hawaii, they are really cool. i also made my very first pot roast, & i'm very proud of myself... it was so delicious! (thanks mom pittard)
something pretty funny happened today... jeff was talking with a buddy of his who lives in our same apartments in church yesterday, and he was telling jeff how they have about 60 something tv channels... espn, espn 2, and all that. so jeff talked with the maintenance people this morning and they taught him how to change the setting on his tv to "cable" instead of "air." okay, so we’ve had cable this whole time and we didn’t even know it, haha, crazy stuff, but seriously kind of funny.
