I have been trying to get a job since July... argh!! And have resorted to a substitute school teacher for the time being... but it's not too bad, i'm sort of getting to be an expert since i've been at it for over a month now. My mom said it's better when you have a routine and know the students and stuff, but i have really been enjoying the spontaneity of subbing... and not knowing what little surprises my day will hold ;)
The drive to Vallivue Middle School was beautiful this morning!! The Fall colors are so beautiful... Julie's cousin, i can't remember his name, but he was a boyscout guide or something and would teach astrology while the kidos were sleeping out under the stars. He told Julie and I that Native American astrology says that in the summer, the Big Dipper is filled with Brown, Orange, and Red colors. In the Autumn, the Big Dipper filled with all of the Fall Colors, turns upside down, and dumps the Fall colors out over all the trees... LOVE IT!!! I know there is a better way to word all that... i might be back later to change it.
In the meantime... enjoy!

I can't believe that you are going to be subbing! i remember when your mom used to teach. i didn't get her humor until i was a little older. but i am sure, just like her you will be great! that is awesome that you are going to sub. it takes a special person to teach. i for sure couldn't do it.
You're substitute hun...you know teaching school is a long time honored profession in this family.
